Te Pātaka ō Ngā Tūpuna



Our kaiārahi (local guide) transport you through privately owned and secluded forest lands. You will be guided on a journey of culture, nature and native wildlife that includes some of the following*:

  • A visit to our Puhikōkō reserve off-grid eco-centre.

  • Mātauranga Māori (Māori knowledge).

  • Learn about the many species of flora and fauna, and their significance to the forest habitat and Māori way of living.

  • Exclusive breath-taking views over the Rangitāiki plains, pacific ocean and out to Te Urewera.

  • A kai (meal) with us in a beautiful natural setting.

  • Grounding yourself with papatūānuku (Mother Earth) on sacred land.

  • Participate in one of our conservation efforts.

  • Learn about our Kiwi recovery programme.
